Who We Are
MMBC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Beaver, Pennsylvania, with a storage and packing facility located in Monaca, Pennsylvania. The facility is used to organize donations and assemble care packages for deployed service members around the world. We work with the USO, the Red Cross, and individual military personnel to determine where our care packages are sent each year.
The organization operates entirely through volunteer support. MMBC has no paid members or officers and is led by elected officers, core volunteers, and general committee volunteers.
From 57 packages in our founding year to 236 in 2025 — our reach grows every Christmas season. In Fall 2025, MMBC became a partner of World Vision, further expanding our mission.
Fundraisers are held throughout the year; donations (both monetary and supplies) are accepted all year long. Collection boxes are placed (with a suggestion list of the most wanted/needed items) across Beaver County and beyond. Then, in early November, it's time to organize, pack and ship the care packages.
Community donations and volunteer support make this mission possible.
Our Story
How It All Started
The MMBC was established in 2023 due to the retirement of a well known non-profit in our area with the same mission.
Four spunky women refused to let our deployed Heroes be forgotten at Christmas time. They recruited our serving President who spearheaded the reorganization of this non-profit. And so, Military Mission of Beaver County was born, shipping large Care Packages overseas to our deployed military personnel in time for Christmas.
The MMBC has a core group of volunteers, from Beaver, Butler and Allegheny counties who work tirelessly to accomplish our Mission: To thank our Heroes and let them know that they are not forgotten by sending them a little bit of Home, Fun, and Whimsy in a Care Package at Christmas time.
